What is a Rough-In?
A Rough-In involves laying out all basic lines without making the final connections. It is done prior to approval by a designated inspector so that a building permit can be finalized. Additionally, covering materials such as walls, ceilings and flooring is not typically in place to allow for easier modifications.
At All Out Plumbing, our rough-in involves boring holes through studs to install and connect pipes, whilst avoiding fixtures and other end elements.
